About JAMS CyberDragons

We are CyberDragons, the robotics club of John Adams Middle School (JAMS) in Santa Monica, California. The JAMS robotics club was first founded in 2015, and we have competed in all of the FIRST Tech challenges but one since then. As a middle school team composed of mainly 8th graders in the past, practically everyone on our team are new to the FIRST Tech Challenge this year. This created a steep learning curve for us but we were up to the challenge. In fact, we were so up to the challenge that we decided to build not just one robot for competition, but two, King Bob(20799) and Marvinette(9887). We saw a direct benefit to the students, two robots meant more hands-on experience for all.
